About
It was an exciting day for the town of Parkes in Central West NSW when I was born on the 16th August 1981. The town was wild with excitement upon hearing the news. But the frenzy wasn’t just for me, it was also for my two identical triplet sisters. We were the first set of triplets for the town.

My triplet sisters and I have an older sister, a younger sister, and a younger brother. The birth of my brother made the front page of the local newspaper; the headline read ‘Five Girls And Finally A Boy’. It must have been a very slow news day.
I grew up on a farm, which was tough as a teenager, but these days I look forward to heading back. I love to watch the trucks go past in the night while I lay in the jacuzzi on the front verandah.
I left the farm and my family behind in 2000 and moved to Canberra to study public relations at the University of Canberra. Upon completing my degree in 2002 I decided to work in the homelessness sector. I then moved on to work at Medicare Australia, Parker & Partners (a public affairs firm), and then four years at the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing developing social marketing campaigns.
I have a passion for health and fitness and have been working part-time as a personal trainer since 2006, after completing a Certificate IV in Fitness. In August 2009, I set up my own personal training business, Thrive Personal Training.
I am a competitive powerlifter, and enjoy a vast array of other activities including boxing, strength and conditioning training, yoga, swimming, cycling, and walks around the natural surrounds of Canberra.
I live with my wonderful husband, Peter, and our miniature schnauzer, Holly. In my spare time I love to read, listen to good music, and further my knowledge in the areas of social marketing, health and fitness.
This is my blog.
