Instructions

Lie on a bench, facing down. Bend your arms so that they are 90 degrees and your elbows are roughly in line with your torso. From this position lengthen your arms out in front of you, bringing your arms up overhead. Aiming to keep your elbows and wrist in a consistent line throughout the movement.

Tip

This exercise is great to work on shoulder/scapula stability. Make sure your arms are even on both sides and that you don’t allow your elbows to go higher than your body. Do this with high repetitions to use as a shoulder rehabilitation exercise, add a fractional amount of weight to the movement to increase the load of the exercise.
