Instructions

Sit on top of a swiss ball, with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. With your hands by your ears, brace your core and lean back until your lower back is on the ball. Bring your torso back up and as you do, raise one leg and twist your torso bringing the opposite elbow towards the raised knee. Come back to the starting position by bringing your foot back onto the floor and lowering your torso back onto the ball. Repeat on the other side and then repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Tips

To ensure you have the right size swiss ball, when you sit on top of the ball, with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, your legs should form approximately a 90 degree angle or higher. Whilst performing this exercise, make sure you keep your elbows out wide and have no movement in the leg that is on the floor.
